Central Texas Protection Training Academy, LLC was created for the purpose of giving individuals
in our society a place to go to improve their chances of being able to protect themselves in a "use of force situation"
both as citizen and as professional. Founding Managing Member Joseph M. (Matt) Billingsley is the former CEO, COO, Licensed
Manager and Lead Instructor of Security Services of Texas. Matt Billingsley has taken his talents, experience & professional
desire to the next level by offering citizens opportunities to learn and hone their skills in threat preparation. He also
continues to offer Security Officers the continued dedication & professional instruction they have come to expect. Central
Texas Protection Training Academy, LLC (Texas DPS PSB License # F01052) in conjunction with Lone Star Gun Range dba, have
combined attributes to provide industry professionals opportunities to improve, practice and increase skills as well as assist
in giving Central Texas citizens a location to practice and fine tune their abilities necessary for self protection. Lone
Star Gun Range includes on their staff DPS certified Concealed Handgun Instructors, DPS certified Security Officers Instructors,
NRA handgun, rifle, shotgun and in the home self defense Instructors. Always remember with any altercation, the use of force
continuum must be understood and followed with only reasonable & necessary force allowed by law being used.
